On the merger of the 2 firms Lesley Halliwell Solicitors of Belgrave Square Darwen and Acklam Bond Noor in June 2011 we increased the specialised facilities we can provide.
We are now able to provide private funded and legal aided family advice and support as necessary and you will find our charges competitive. We also allow flexible arrangements for payment.
If you are in receipt of passported benefits such as Income Support or Pension Guaranteed Credits or you have a low income then you may qualify for public funding and we would be happy to assess you on production of the necessary evidence of your means.

Our specialist services include: Divorce, Children issues, Injunctions, Ancillary relief orders and pre-nuptial agreements.
If you are planning on living with your partner we would be happy to advise you about the implications and set up a deed to make proper and safe arrangements rather than leaving things to chance. You have limited access to the court on the distribution of assets in the event that you separate or there is a death.

We would also advise you about making a will to appoint guardians to act in the event of your death for any child under the age of 18 and the setting up of a trust fund for your dependant children.

If you are a grand parent or other family member you may on occasions need help and advise regarding contact to a grandchild or sometimes an application to the courts for a Residence Order may be necessary. We are happy to assist.
